MEDIA: Carbon Dust, Adobe Photoshop CS5.5, Adobe Illustrator CS5.5

This drawing was made directly from specimens in Grant’s Museum (part of the Division of Anatomy at the University of Toronto). The purpose of this drawing was to gain practice in producing gross anatomical illustrations in which all important structures must be clearly defined and labelled. It was also an opportunity to learn to work in carbon dust which is a historical technique employed in medical illustration.
